Woah, two weeks just went passed.
So, today's my first book-out day, which means I get to go home for the weekend to rest before returning to the camp on Sunday. Hence, I'm able to type this (Slap self for being a Captain Obvious).
Unfortunately, I would not be able to reply to everyone, but I just want to say that I'm absolutely grateful for the uplifting comments you guys had posted. Yep, I did read every single one of them, and it sure does helps to keep my spirit up.
Sadly, again, I wouldn't be posting any thing any time soon (exhausted from training), but I will try to get back to painting as soon as I can.
It's been so long since I wrote a journal entry that trying to type out what's in my mind is getting difficult, so I will try to keep it as short and to-the-point as possible.
Starting from 11 September, I will be serving my time in the Singapore army for two years as part of the country's mandatory enlistment act for all male Singaporean. I will be under "confinement" for the first two weeks, which means I will not return home from camp. It is only after that period that I'm allowed to book out every week during the weekends.
It sucks, because I will not have as much free time as I want to sketch, and my access to a computer to practice any digital painting (or to even internet) is pretty much limited to weekends only. It also means I would not be able to upload for the time being.
Nevertheless, I appreciate every single one of you that had followed me to this day. I'm not popular or anything, but that being said, having 4000 watchers supporting me is not something I had expected when I first joined dA. It keeps me going because I know that someone out there likes what I'm doing. You guys are a great motivation for me.I thought I would be able to upload more frequently before I go, but time doesn't allow me (and I procrastinate a lot.)
So, see ya guys for now! I will respond as soon as I'm able to touch a computer.
