This is fantastic! I like how you've captured the glow from the blue orb and how everything matches the calm sunset. It has a very nice warm fantasy feel to it. No, it doesn't look blurry when in 100% zoom as you asked, it looks just fine. I like how the tree's leaves are simple strokes but still keep a realistic look. The clouds need to be a tad pinker, but not very much. The whole thing is very realistic and beautiful. The grass on the hill the tree is on needs to stand out a bit more on the edges, it looks a bit flat in my opinion. Other than that, great job!
I love the traditional feel of this landscape. At first, you feel as if it's just a beautiful landscape with a waterfall, some fir trees, and an old oak, but when you look closer, Celestia's castle catches your eye, and you instantly recognize many other places from the series, such as the fir trees in Fir Tree Forest. The blue orb hints at that fantastical feel in the painting, you just have to look for it. I love how this artwork pulls you in and entices you to look into it more. I don't think it looks blurry when zoomed in 100%, you see all of the brush strokes! Overall, this piece is beautiful, though I feel you should make a hint at individual blades of grass, clouds, etc., because some things you sort of blended together by not adding as much detail, and that leads you to focus on it less.
Great piece. B&W painting is a good method in illustration, looks like it came out good here. I just did an illustration in the same method, though I should use more variety of brushes like you did here, they compliment the piece very well.
This isn't so much a comment on the artistic merit of this piece as it is to it's resemblance to something else; at first glance I could have sworn this was actually art of the Ruby Sanctum in World of Warcraft. Behold! ~ [link]
Could just be coincidence, but, well, yeah. Not that this is a bad thing; there's only so many ways to draw trees during a sunset in autumn. Beautiful art, regardless!
Wonderful composition, subtle but lovely colour tones, I wouldn't say it looks blurry when zoomed fully. I'm still amazed by the way is fandom has attracted such a wide scope of great artist and I (do struggle to keep up with the sheer quantity of creation) really like the style you've got I guess I've got another person to watch
This looks fantastic! It really emanates a feeling of calm and serenity and everyone probably already said this by now, but no, it doesn't look blurry at 100%. Zoomed in it really shows off the little details that you added to it!
I'll havta admit, thought I was looking at a picture for World of Warcraft. Tree looks like one from the Blood Elfs' land with a whisp lol. Really awesome pic, kinda wish the show had nice scenes like this!
Just around the leaves (mostly at the bottom of them) looks blurry. The stuff in the distance is supposed to be blurry. (It's a perspective thing). Your use of color is excellent. I love the juxtaposition of the blue light and the red leaves. The painterly style is a win, too.
It does look a bit blurry at 100%, but nothing to complain about. This is incredibly beautiful. I'm really touched by this for some reason. It really stood out for me in EqD's latest Drawfriend. Well done, really breathtaking work.
