It's been awhile. Hello again!

A year has passed since my last journal update, yet I swore it felt like it was written just weeks ago. I remember writing it while I try to bring myself up to pack my stuffs in preparation for my enlistment day into the army. I felt dejected, my spirit dampened, realizing that I had to put down everything I love to do and had no choice but to serve my country's two years of mandatory military service. Most of the folks back at home would tell me it would not be as bad as I thought it would be, but human nature forbids ourselves from listening to others sometimes.  Long story short, the week before my enlistment date, I felt really downcasted. Some of you have posted positive comments previously, and I really appreciated it. I was absolutely delighted to see the supports, even though I know I don't often interact much other than submitting new artwork and answering a few comments before disappearing for the week. And now, a year of almost full absence, boy, I think a new journal post is long overdue.

Just to keep this from being "tl:dr", allow me to summarize what has been going on. I'm currently in the military and will be for at least another year. My service will not end until September of next year, which means I will still be unresponsive for the foreseeable future, unfortunately. However, the most difficult part of my training is over a few months ago, which means I can finally have some time of my own to do new art-related work. I know that most of my watchers are fans from the My Little Pony community, considering painting and drawing ponies was how I started in the first place, and earlier this year, I had posted non-pony related artwork even though I have stated I am  in hiatus. Some of you might be confused, or perhaps not, but I think I should at least explain why. Well, truth is it's nothing really, they are just some of the works I did as a portfolio submission for a course I wanted to apply in a local university, so I thought I would post it here too to share it with you and to keep things going a little bit.

I had lost my interest for the show at some point earlier this year, probably due to simply not being able to catch up on it and the hype in me exhausted itself. Fortunately, if it may be considered so, now that time has become more favorable to me, I am able to watch the new season just two months ago, and I think it has brought me back. Coupled with the new Equestria Girl: Rainbow Rocks movie, I guess you really can't run away from MLP, huh? Haha.

Anyhow, it really has been quite awhile. I do hope my in-activeness over this past one year hasn't impede my progress. It would not be a "one art per two three-ish days" kind of often, but I will try my best to upload new artwork whenever I can. Holidays are coming, so that's nice.
