The last time I had an update was probably several months ago and I was in the middle of my academic year. Not to sound like I'm purposely making things exaggerated, but it was tough for me and I'm finding myself constantly playing catch-up with the rest of the class. It was exhausting. Fortunately, I manage to make it through and graduated with at least a somewhat average portfolio to start looking for a job. That got me to start thinking more seriously about my own future and art career.
I realise I can't possibly be doing fan-art entirely. At some point I have to call it stop work on my own portfolio if I want to have a shot at contributing to an IP development for a studio (games, films or animations). Personal projects speaks a lot when applying for an in-house work, which means I will definitely have to shift my focus to original design. This brings me to my next point.
Most of my watchers are fans of My Little Pony, and even if that was not the reason, you are what drives me to continue to upload a new work. By taking this account to a different route, I feel that I have disappointed you. By no means am I trying to sound like I'm an important person. I am genuinely unsure where to further take this to. I will try a few things here and there as the days come, and if you continue to follow me still, in which this note is meant for you, thank you.
PS: If you are interested, here's my portfolio website I was talking about, www.aeronart.com/

I finally made an Instagram account...
So, it's been some times since I uploaded my work here. I not sure how many of you are a regular follower of this account still, but if you like, I have made an Instagram account (about damn time).
Thing is... Deviantart is more of like an archive account to me now, and if you like to see more of my recent work and WIPs, you can follow my Instagram instead. Links underneath:

You can also follow my work in these other links as well.

What's Next (Update #3 Mid-Year 2016)
Update #3 13 June 2016
Woah, has it been six months already? I swear, the last term went by in a blink of an eye, and so does the first half of the year.
How you guys been? I'm doing this quick update to say hi. It was a crazy term for me in school with assignments pouring in one after another to a point I don't even have the chance to upload some of the stuffs I did for class. The term break had also just ended (two weeks) so now I'm back to busy mode for the next four months. Anyhow, hope you guys are good and all and eating healthy.
Update #2 01 January 2016
I hope that you had a great time this past year, and even better for the year
It's been awhile. Hello again!
A year has passed since my last journal update, yet I swore it felt like it was written just weeks ago. I remember writing it while I try to bring myself up to pack my stuffs in preparation for my enlistment day into the army. I felt dejected, my spirit dampened, realizing that I had to put down everything I love to do and had no choice but to serve my country's two years of mandatory military service. Most of the folks back at home would tell me it would not be as bad as I thought it would be, but human nature forbids ourselves from listening to others sometimes. Long story short, the week before my enlistment date, I felt really downcasted

Woah, two weeks just went passed.
So, today's my first book-out day, which means I get to go home for the weekend to rest before returning to the camp on Sunday. Hence, I'm able to type this (Slap self for being a Captain Obvious).
Unfortunately, I would not be able to reply to everyone, but I just want to say that I'm absolutely grateful for the uplifting comments you guys had posted. Yep, I did read every single one of them, and it sure does helps to keep my spirit up.
Sadly, again, I wouldn't be posting any thing any time soon (exhausted from training), but I will try to get back to painting as soon as I can.

You should go with whatever your passions feel like going with friend. When you feel the urge to do some fan related art, go for it. Or When you feel like expressing your originality, go for it! One of my favoite art quotes comes from impressionist Paul Cezzane: "Art that does not begin with Emotion is not art." Though not 100% true, it does clearly refer to passion being the driving force of art I believe, and that I believe it what you should do. Let your passions lead the way! Hope that helps
Ps; Sorrey i haven't been around lately. life has been busy & rough. Hope all is well with you friend
