The last time I had an update was probably several months ago and I was in the middle of my academic year. Not to sound like I'm purposely making things exaggerated, but it was tough for me and I'm finding myself constantly playing catch-up with the rest of the class. It was exhausting. Fortunately, I manage to make it through and graduated with at least a somewhat average portfolio to start looking for a job. That got me to start thinking more seriously about my own future and art career.

I realise I can't possibly be doing fan-art entirely. At some point I have to call it stop work on my own portfolio if I want to have a shot at contributing to an IP development for a studio (games, films or animations). Personal projects speaks a lot when applying for an in-house work, which means I will definitely have to shift my focus to original design. This brings me to my next point.

Most of my watchers are fans of My Little Pony, and even if that was not the reason, you are what drives me to continue to upload a new work. By taking this account to a different route, I feel that I have disappointed you. By no means am I trying to sound like I'm an important person. I am genuinely unsure where to further take this to. I will try a few things here and there as the days come, and if you continue to follow me still, in which this note is meant for you, thank you.

You should go with whatever your passions feel like going with friend. When you feel the urge to do some fan related art, go for it. Or When you feel like expressing your originality, go for it! One of my favoite art quotes comes from impressionist Paul Cezzane: "Art that does not begin with Emotion is not art." Though not 100% true, it does clearly refer to passion being the driving force of art I believe, and that I believe it what you should do. Let your passions lead the way! Hope that helps :)

Ps; Sorrey i haven't been around lately. life has been busy & rough. Hope all is well with you friend :manhug:
